New museum cabinet to be launched at the Museums + Heritage Show
PSJ Fabrications will launch its new museum storage and display cabinet at the Museums + Heritage Show 2013, which will take place at Olympia in London on 15 and 16 May. The exhibition is the leading event of its kind, bringing together the latest products and services for museums and galleries, as well as heritage and cultural visitor attractions.
With a fully welded construction made from 2mm mild steel and polyester powder-coated to the client’s choice of colour, the cabinet is built to last. The new cabinet features a standard design that can be tailored to any size with limitless options to meet customers’ precise requirements. The standardized design ensures short lead-times and competitive pricing for this bespoke product.
The new cabinet can accommodate a wide range of storage solutions such as racks, drawers and shelves, which can be configured to meet current and future needs. As standard the cabinet features a fully enclosed, three-point locking system with a modern, low-profile handle, as well as museum-grade door seals to ensure the integrity of all artefacts inside. Other locking options are available, from electronic PIN to standard key locking. The cabinet doors can be glazed in a range of materials from laminated to anti-bandit glass, to provide additional security.
The new range of museum cabinets utilizes PSJ’s experience and expertise gained from almost 50 years of manufacturing high-quality cabinets for some of the UK’s most prestigious museums and galleries.
