Fun on the course and the prom

Golf funPSJ Fabrications’ Works Manager, Andy Wright, and Alan Brown, Senior Design Draughtsman for The Automated Technology Group, took part in a charity golf competition on 22 June at Mowsbury Golf Club. The Captains’ Day event featured over one hundred playing members and past Captains of the Club.

As the weather was very warm, the beer tent was in great demand after the 18th hole. Alan Brown shot a net 75 and Andy Wright scored a net 70, losing on count-back in the Past Captains’ Cup. More importantly, the event raised a fantastic £1500 for the Teenage Cancer Trust.

Further fun was had on a trip to Brighton on 28 June, when sixteen of PSJ Fabrications’ staff made the journey south from Bedford for some old-fashioned entertainment at the seaside. As the sun was shining, a few of the local hostelries were visited in order to quench the thirst of the tourists and the day proved to be very enjoyable for all concerned.
