Due to expansion, PSJ Fabrications is creating a variety of permanent positions. The company is keen to find new people with a range of skill sets and levels of experience to help take the business to the next level.
Roles include Sheet Metal Fabricators – including a Team Leader role – a Brake Press Setter/Operator and Assembly Team Leader, as well as apprenticeships.
Prospective candidates for the role of Sheet Metal Fabricator will ideally be apprentice trained and suitably qualified and experienced in fabrication and welding techniques. This should include extensive recent experience in TIG welding sheet metal products in varying materials, particularly stainless steel but also mild steel and aluminium. It is also essential for applicants to be experienced in fabricating sheet metal assemblies and have the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
The new Brake Press Setter/Operator will be required to work across our three Amada presses on a combination of high-volume production items and low-volume bespoke products. It would be an advantage for candidates to have experience of Amada presses but this is not essential. A general knowledge of sheet metal would be advantageous.
To apply for the role of Assembly Team Leader, candidates should be highly skilled and experienced in managing fitters, qualifying them to run our small fitting shop which is responsible for assembling panels and trunking to the highest standards and to tight deadlines. The Team Leader will also play a key role in tight and efficient stock control.
As part of our growth, we are also taking on apprentices and we would be delighted to hear from applicants with a keen interest in developing a career in sheet metal fabrication.
To apply for any of the above roles, candidates should send their CV to Andy Wright at email@example.com, clearly stating which position they are applying for.
