PSJ Fabrications now Health and Safety accredited
With more than 44,000 individual members in over 100 countries, The Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) is the largest health and safety membership organisation in the world. PSJ Fabrications believes in the importance of health and safety training in maintaining staff well-being in the workplace and would like to congratulate Assistant Works Manager, James Clark, on successfully completing the IOSH training course.
The course James completed was held between the 22nd and 25th of June at the Silsoe head office of PSJ Fabrications’ parent company, The Automated Technology Group, and was attended by management representatives from both companies. Focused on preventing health and safety issues in the workplace, the ‘Managing safely’ programme consisted of several modules, including Assessing risks, Understanding hazards, Investigating incidents and more. After completing the modules, all the attendees were tested on their knowledge and awarded with IOSH Managing safely certificates after passing the assessment.
Founded in 1945, the IOSH is the only Chartered body for health and safety professionals in the world and PSJ Fabrications is pleased to now be Health and Safety accredited by this prestigious organisation. James Clark commented, “The quality of the training was second to none and I would definitely recommend taking the course to everyone working in a management role. I am very grateful that PSJ Fabrications chose me to take part in the training and I look forward to applying the knowledge and skills I gained from the programme at the PSJ Fabrications site.”
